1760662 Jesus delivered to be crucified – Matthew 27:24-31, Mark 15:15-20, Luke 23:22-25, John 19:16, Friday April 15 A.D. 29 Jerusalem
And he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has this man done? I have found in Him no guilt demanding death, I will therefore punish Him and release Him. But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. And their voices prevailed. So when Pilate saw that nothing was being gained, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person. You see to it.” And all the people answered and said, “May his blood be on us, and on our children!” And then Pilate, wishing to quiet the multitude, decreed that what they asked for should be done. He released to them Barabbas, for whom they asked, who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, but he delivered Jesus up to their will. So then he handed over Jesus to them when he had flogged him and delivered him to be crucified. Then the governor’s soldiers led him away within the court and took Jesus into the Praetorium. They called together and gathered to him the whole garrison cohort. And they stripped him, and clothed him with a purple scarlet robe. And they braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand. They began to salute him and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” They spat on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. And when they had mocked him, they took the purple robe off of him, and put his own clothes and garments on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him. And they led him away to crucify him.
