And the neighbors therefore, and those who saw him before when he was a beggar, said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?” Others said, “It is he.” Still others said, “No, he looks like him.” But he said, “I am he.” And they therefore said to him, “How were your eyes opened?” And he answered, “The man called Jesus made mud, and anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash.’ So, I went away and washed, and I received sight.” And they said to him, “Where is he?” He said, “I do not know.”
