0790609 Adulterous woman brought to Jesus – John 8:2-11, October A.D. 28 Jerusalem
And early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him; and he sat down and taught them. And the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery. And having set her in the midst, they said to him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act. And now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such. What then do you say about her?” And they said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. But when they continued asking him, he lifted himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.” And again, he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. And Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle. And Jesus stood up, and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no man condemn you?” And she said, “No man, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.”
