0361003 Two of John’s disciples question Jesus – Matthew 11:2-6, Luke 7:18-23, A.D. 27 Towns in Galilee

And John heard in the prison the works of Christ when the disciples of John told him about all these things.  John, calling to himself, sent two of his disciples to the Lord, and when the men had come to him, they said to him, “John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, ‘Are you he who comes and the one who is coming or should we look for another?”  In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits; and to many who were blind he gave sight. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and say to John the things which you have heard and seen: that the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news and the Gospel preached to them.  And blessed is he who does not stumble over me and who is not offended by me.”
